Choosing the Right Gazebo: Types and Features Available: Part II
|Finding the perfect fit for a gazebo in your outdoor space can be a little complicated. Here are a few ways to determine the perfect gazebo for your space.
- Wooden Gazebo: these are most commonly chosen for outdoor environments because of the durability of the wood and the elegant designs that they can come in. Wooden Gazebos enhance the environment that they are in, are often lightweight in nature and can come with amazing functionality. You can find these in residential areas, such as in the backyards of homes, or in amongst public places such as parks.
- Tensile Gazebo: these are mainly used in gardens because of their construction. They provide a small area of shade, are easy to install and because the roof portion is made out of fabric, they are resistant to damage from wind, rain, fire and sun fade.
- Portable Gazebo: these are the kinds that you see on the back decks of homes. They are lightweight, compact and will have a modern or contemporary design to them. They are easy to set up and take down and come with various height choices. They are mainly used in the summer time to keep away bugs and provide shade.
- Temporary Gazebo: these will be lightweight, easy to assemble and disassemble and will only have walls and a roof or just a roof. These are the most affordable kind of gazebo and can actually be taken to beaches or to camping grounds because they are quick to set up.
- Metal Gazebo: these are often just decorative pieces that are made out of aluminum or wrought iron. You will often see them in gardens where shrubbery is cut like art. They require little maintenance and will come with resistances to things like bugs, animals and rust.
